Burkina Faso: Key Update on President Ibrahim Traoré

Image
Burkina Faso’s military leader, Ibrahim Traoré, has made several bold moves in recent days, tightening his grip on power and shifting the country’s political direction. Traoré became the first leader to receive the new AES biometric identity card, a symbol of the alliance between Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger. The government also dissolved the national electoral commission, placing elections and political control directly under state authority. In another major step, Traoré ordered public institutions to cut ties with Western media, accusing them of spreading harmful narratives. His administration also backed Morocco’s position at the recent Rabat Terrorism Conference, strengthening foreign alliances outside traditional Western influence. On the domestic side, the government approved a bill to restore the death penalty for crimes such as terrorism, treason, and espionage — a decision critics say could increase state repression. With these moves, Traoré continues to centralize powe...

What does true living mean?:

I've been curious If we knew the future, how would we live in the present?  When everything can be predicted,I wonder if it would take away uncertainty and bring about lasting happiness. Is there a guide to life? where nothing seems unpredictable Would we have and be whatever and whoever we can be? is uncertainty what makes us human?, Are we all collectively trying to control outcome? And does the more controlled and in our power our future seems.....is that where happiness truly comes from? if we weren't uncertain about what would happen next in life.... would we be completely happy?  And after that what next?  When we know the next step, turn, Outcome and encounter, what would we do then, how would life look like? Image
We meet many people in our lifetime. Some arrive like lessons . Some arrive like warnings. Some arrive like storms — loud and unforgettable. But then there’s the one who arrives like a home. No noise. No drama. Just comfort. The one who stays when we are quiet, uncertain, imperfect and raw. But unfortunately these ones are often taken for granted and disrespected While we chase the exciting ones… and overlook the one who would actually stay. Then we go ahead to the media and cry to our friends and support groups that women/men are wicked 😭,when we chose chaos over peace and excitement over calm And we continue to reap the reward of our own inability to identify what we need and after we're dissatisfied and disappointed in an unfulfilled union.....  We then go ahead to create and fuel gender wars  , turning one gender against the other and tagging them the source of our problems, when we're supposed to be looking within and being honest with ourselves about we really ne...

when silence says too much

Image
Silence can be peaceful. But in relationships, silence often becomes a language of fear — a place where truth hides. We convince ourselves that saying nothing keeps us safe. But silence rarely protects love. It starves it. Sometimes, the bravest thing we can do is speak — even if our voice shakes. Silent ruins love or a phrase like this story → Click  https://godsentomonblog.blogspot.com/2025/10/when-silence-says-too-much.html → Check Out The Emeka & Beatrice story

The Strange Story of Emeka and Beatrice

Image
Emeka and Beatrice were two people who met at a time when life felt simple — yet everything around them was slowly changing. They didn’t collide like fate in movies. It was more like two quiet souls finding each other’s reflection without even trying. Beatrice admired Emeka’s calm confidence. Emeka admired the softness in Beatrice’s strength. They moved through life like a team — like a promise that wasn’t spoken but deeply understood. But sometimes, the closer we get to someone, the harder it is to stay honest with ourselves. As their relationship deepened, doubt started whispering. Not loud enough to destroy, but strong enough to shake what they were building. They cared deeply — yet couldn’t communicate the things that mattered most. Love without clarity becomes a guessing game. So Emeka withdrew into silence. Beatrice overthought everything. Both hurting. Both wishing the other would just understand. In the end, it wasn’t love that failed — it was fear. Fear of being vulnerable . ...
